| This year's conference was held at Cactus Pete's
Resort Casino April 19th & 20th. We had 28 people register for
this year's conference (hooray). We were treated to some great
speakers. L.D. Fitzgerald was there along with his Ch. 13
administrator Terri Hayball along with Stacey Hernandez, the Ch. 7
Administrator. |
| Terry Rowe CCC, from Pioneer Federal Credit union
enlighten us on management burnout, how to recognize it, and
prevent it. |
| Agent Corby Rowe from the Secret Service and
Detective Sergeant Dave Heideman from the Twin Falls Police
Department kept us on our toes with some of the scams that have
been floating around the state. |
| We had the Department of Finance's Bureau Chief
make her debut at our annual conference. It was good to see Mary
Hughes there and give her spiel on what's happening in the
Department. |
| As for the conference, we had a total of $2420.00
in conference deposits (this amount does not include any money
collected at the door) and our expenses were $1858.44 for the
hotel, $445.50 for the president's room/hospitality suite and
$136.02 to host the hospitality suite. We brought in $1304.00 from
the silent auction and the bottle auction. It pleases me to
announce that we net $1341.09. |
| In closing, I would like to thank all the speakers
for taking time out of their busy schedule and indulge us with
their area of expertise. To Cactus Petes for their hospitality,
for the slot tournament, and not to mention the food was wonderful
And to Jim Judd, the bottle auction just wouldn't be the same
without you. |
